課程概述

This course is a doctoral seminar that focuses on the theoretical foundations of marketing strategy. The primary focus is to provide the students with an understanding of the theories drawn from related disciplines and its application in marketing strategy. 

課程目標
The objectives of this course are to (1) help students to identify the key theoretical streams in marketing strategy, (2) become familiar with the issues, methods and findings in the area, and (3) enhance skills in critiquing the literature, defining research problems and writing papers in this area. 
課程要求
Weekly Readings Summaries: For each session, you must distribute copies (in either Chinese or English) of your critique of the assigned reading. The critique should be brief, extending to a maximum of one printed page

Research Paper: The paper can be conceptual or empirical, but must have a marketing strategy focus. The article should be developed with a targeted publication in mind.
You must submit a 2 to 3 page outline of your proposed paper (for instructor approval) by week 8 of the course and the complete paper by the final week of the course. During the final week, you will also be required to make a short presentation of your paper (about 30 minutes).
